Job summary

Global Arts Live in Cambridge, MA, is hiring a Community Engagement Manager to build programs and partnerships for Global Arts Live and The Platform. You will work across departments to strengthen community ties and expand audiences in Kendall Square and beyond.

As the Platform opens, you will engage immigrant communities and local neighborhoods, develop artist collaborations, and help deliver educational and outreach activities aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience building community relationships and live-performance programs.
• Experience with the Greater Boston area and Cambridge is a plus.
• Proven ability to drive results through collaboration across diverse groups.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Robust project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deepen relationships with artistic, immigrant, underserved communities, and neighbors in Cambridge and Kendall Square.
• Bring new partnership ideas to engage audiences and support events, coordinating with marketing and development to secure funding.
• Coordinate distribution of 25 free venue rentals annually to community partners.
• Manage The Platform Arts Advisory Circle, a community artist group providing input and guidance.
• Manage the Global Arts Live CONNECT program distributing deeply discounted tickets to partner constituents facing barriers.
