Greenville County Commission On Alcohol & Drug Abuse seeks an experienced coordinator for the Community Engagement Department to support communication, marketing, volunteer management, and intern coordination within the Phoenix Center. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs., climbing and grasping, with strong verbal communication for outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; three years of professional public health experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Self-starter, independent work style, highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements communication and marketing strategies for Phoenix Center and The Family Effect.
• Identifies, plans, and participates in public-speaking opportunities to promote awareness of Phoenix Center programs and services.
• Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff.
• Prepares required reports and communicates them promptly and effectively.
• Maintains knowledge of existing substance abuse prevention and treatment resources and community services.
• Recruits, orients, coordinates, and supports volunteers across Phoenix Center programs.
