Job description

As a vital part of the local economy, the mission of Prescott Farmers Market is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local foods. Prescott Farmers Market (PFM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Greater Prescott Area through the following programs.

  • PFM’s foundational program is its Saturday market, where local farmers, ranchers, food, and craft artisans sell their goods. This market provides a space for community connection through food.
  • Feed Your Neighbors connects fresh produce from local farms to food-insecure households via food box deliveries and vouchers.
  • Prescott Community Compost is a volunteer-powered program turning food scraps into nutrient-rich compost for our community.
  • NoCo Community Kitchen is a shared kitchen providing commissary space for small food businesses.

The programs above thrive due to the commitment and collaboration of ten staff members. PFM’s work culture is rooted in hard work, integrity, community, and resourcefulness. Authenticity is at the heart of how we work together, ensuring every teammate feels heard, valued, and understood. Clear communication builds and maintains trust, which is essential to serve our community, with our mission at the core. We believe that the long-term sustainability of PFM is a collective effort, with every team member actively contributing to cultivating authentic relationships.
