An organization focused on psychotherapy is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to lead communications and foster engagement within professional communities. This remote opportunity requires 5-7 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in project management and social media engagement. You’ll work collaboratively across departments and manage a Coordinator to ensure effective outreach and community involvement.

The Community Engagement Manager, reporting to the Director of Professional & Community Development, serves as the primary liaison between IFS Institute and its community spaces. This position holds a critical role in advancing the organization’s internal and external communications, with particular emphasis on engagement with professional communities and social media groups. Additionally, the Community Engagement Manager provides support to IFSI UK and partners with the International Director to facilitate clear, consistent, and effective communications across the global IFS community.
IFSI is managed as a distributed team that uses technology and regular in-person gatherings to stay connected. We are seeking someone who is comfortable with and skilled at remote work, leadership, and collaboration. We have two base locations – Chicago and Toronto. This is a remote opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional interpersonal skills, strong leadership abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. This position manages a Coordinator and plays a central role in the development and execution of diverse communications initiatives.
