Job summary

USA Rare Earth seeks a Community Relations Manager to lead engagement with local governments, educational institutions, nonprofits and other external stakeholders while aligning outreach with business goals. You will develop content for digital channels, coordinate community events, monitor public sentiment, and collaborate with Communications, HR, Operations, EHS, and leadership to ensure consistent messaging.

Fluency in English and Spanish and 5+ years in community relations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in community relations, communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, or public affairs.
• Demonstrated success building partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and other external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong project management and event coordination skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital communications and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community relations strategies aligned with mission, values, and business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local officials, organizations, institutions, and stakeholders.
• Plan and execute community outreach events, tours, sponsorships, volunteer activities, and educational programs.
• Manage charitable donations, sponsorship requests, grants, and volunteer programs.
• Create content highlighting initiatives for digital channels and external communications.
• Support social media presence and campaigns to ensure branding consistency.
• Monitor engagement trends and public sentiment, identifying opportunities for outreach.
• Represent the company at community meetings, civic events, and industry functions.
• Collaborate with Communications, HR, Operations, EHS, and leadership for consistent messaging.
