Stream Data Centers is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to drive local stakeholder engagement across markets from acquisition through operations. You will build trusted relationships with officials, chambers of commerce, schools, and community groups while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and corporate pillars.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in community development, public affairs, communications, political science, urban planning, nonprofit management, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years or progressively responsible experience in community engagement, public affairs, government relations, economic development, stakeholder management, or related field, preferably infrastructure/energy/real estate.
• Ability to build trust with local officials, community leaders, and residents, and manage sensitive public processes.
• Strong project-management skills to handle multiple sites, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public meeting facilitation.
• Experience maintaining stakeholder data, issue trackers, dashboards, or engagement reports.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with regular in-office days.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned market(s), including overnight travel and occasional evening/weekend meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain local stakeholder strategy and civic relationships with elected officials, chambers of commerce, and related groups.
• Create site-specific stakeholder maps with sentiment baselines and ownership.
• Assess community dynamics before disclosure and lead early, plain-language engagement.
• Profile communities during acquisition to inform site strategy and go/no-go decisions.
• Develop and execute site engagement plans across Acquisition, Development, Construction, and Operations.
• Plan and coordinate community meetings, open houses, and post-meeting summaries.
• Coordinate Data Center 101 briefings and site tours with decision makers.
• Maintain an issues log and ‘What We Heard / How We Responded’ documentation.
• Track sentiment and report changes in community risk to leadership.
• Escalate emerging risks and coordinate responses with cross-functional teams.
• Translate local priorities into community benefit categories aligned to corporate pillars.
• Develop site-specific community investment frameworks with funding and governance.
• Adapt corporate programs to local needs and market dynamics.
• Translate engagement strategies into project plans with timelines and KPIs.
• Lead cross-functional coordination and execution of engagement initiatives.
• Track commitments and outcomes; maintain documentation and records.
• Manage site-level engagement budgets and sponsorship requests.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Construction, and Operations for one voice.
• Maintain a centralized record of community commitments and owners.
• Ensure a clean handoff when assets are sold or transferred.
• Provide continuity of engagement across acquisition, development, construction, and operations.
