Job summary

The United Soccer League (USL) is seeking a Fall Intern for its Rodeo SC community outreach initiatives. The role focuses on planning events, youth programs, and content creation to engage local communities.

You will support partnerships with schools and nonprofits, manage social channels, and help report impact. Current students in communications or related fields should apply, with willingness to work some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Sports Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• Strong passion for community engagement and the power of sports to create positive change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and game days, as required by the sports schedule.
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation is a plus.

The Community Outreach Intern will be an integral part of Rodeo SC's efforts to connect with and serve the local community. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports-based community engagement, helping to build strong relationships, promote the club's values, and make a positive impact.
