The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in community engagement or nonprofit development, strong written/verbal communication, and experience with social media, newsletters, Canva, and donor databases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with education in marketing, communications, public relations or related field (bachelor’s degree preferred, not required).
• Knowledge of not-for-profit setting, management practices and operations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement, marketing, or nonprofit development roles required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with social media management, email marketing platforms, and donor management databases preferred.
• Ability to deliver formal and informal public presentations.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and basic photo/video editing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Candidates are subject to driving record verification and background screening in accordance with Mosaic policy and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community outreach and marketing efforts.
• Assist with donor communications, acknowledgements, and stewardship activities.
• Support planning and logistics for fundraising events and campaigns.
• Create and distribute content across social media, newsletters, website, and print platforms.
• Track and report on engagement metrics and outcomes.
• Provide administrative support for donor tracking and reporting.
