An established industry player in luxury hospitality is seeking a Community Engagement Events Associate to join their dynamic team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to plan and execute a range of exciting events, from golf tournaments to charitable fundraisers. PROMONTORY (Park City, Utah) – Community Engagement Events Associate
Promontory is the largest, luxury master planned community and private club in Park City, and arguably the most amenity-rich club in the countrywww.promontoryclub.com.
Promontory Clubis looking for a full time salaried Community Engagement Events Associate to work hand in hand with the Director of Community Engagement, Catering Manager, Marketing team and club operations team to plan, promote, market and execute all club sponsored events (including but not limited to golf tournaments, member mixers, social functions, art classes, a myriad of special holiday events, wine dinners, annual charitable fundraising events, etc). THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. REQUIRES FULL TIME IN-OFFICE WORK.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Community Engagement Events Associate should have both a strong creative vision as well as strong excel skills. They must have thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, be technologically savvy, proficient in managing event budgets in Excel,and should be able to create high quality promotional materials and eBlasts for club events. They will help plan and execute events unique to the membership of Promontory Club and be confident in co-managing events from 10-500 people. To be successful in this role, you will need to be outgoing, creative, highly organized and forward thinking.
The Community Engagement Events Associate will report to the Director of Community Engagement and will work alongside the entire events, marketing, club management teams, to plan and execute events, create marketing graphics, fundraise and assist with the Promontory Foundation annual fundraising event.
Regular duties may include:
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS:
·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required.
·Experience in high end/luxury hospitality, graphic design, creative narrative, and event planning.
·A background in marketing, events, fundraising and public speaking preferred.
·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
·Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
·Knowledge of Graphic Design, Email Marketing, and Event Marketing.
·Knowledge specifically of Basecamp, Zoho, and Northstar a plus.
·Ability to create, plan, manage, and execute events.
·Effective time management and organization skills and the ability to multitaskin a fast-paced environment.
·Professional and proactive work ethic.
·Problem Solving/Analytics.
·High competence in event planning and management.
·Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
·Experience in social media marketing and email campaign marketing.
·Experience with print marketing and print collateral creation and execution.
· Availability to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends is a must.
·Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
·Job requires full time commitment in the Promontory office (not a remote position)
·Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with different personality types as well as other departmentsand vendors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able tosit at a deskor in meetings for extended periods of time; ability to lift 15lbs frequently and the ability tolift 50lbs occasionally.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB:Abide by Promontory policies and procedures and submit ideas for possible revision; work independently with little supervision;courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members and employees.
COMPENSATION:

Salary will be highly competitive and determined based on experience.
