Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Community & Citizenship Coordinator to collaborate with business leaders on programs aligning with Community and Citizenship pillars. You will help develop, manage and implement UBE initiatives and educational activities across projects.

Key duties include tracking UBE participation, maintaining certification logs, and attending outreach events to build relationships with diverse subcontractors and suppliers. Minimal travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher with 3+ years related experience or equivalent.
• Passion for community-based programs and volunteer experience.
• Strong planning, reporting, scheduling, and documentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Align BU goals with Community and Citizenship pillars through program development.
• Collaborate with Procurement to promote UBE programs and track commitments.
• Maintain records of prime subcontractors’ UBE commitments and report metrics.
• Attend outreach events to build relationships with diverse subcontractors.
• Track UBE participation on projects for metrics reporting.
• Support development, data gathering, and reporting of educational programs and other initiatives.
• Engage with local and federal organizations to support UBE and Diversity and Inclusion within Trades.
• Research local social and economic trends to support Community & Citizenship plans.
• Assist business development with sales pursuits.
• On projects with Workforce Development, help track local residents within Trades.
