Job summary

Westport Community Economic Development Corporation seeks an ACC AmeriCorps Member to support community outreach and implementation of programs focused on homeownership training, volunteer recruitment for Clean and Green, and the community master plan. You will help connect residents with resources, track progress, and represent the organization at events.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 17 years of age or older by the start of service.
• Have not already served four AmeriCorps State/National terms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain database of residents, tracking needs and progress to support outreach and services.
• Coordinate Block Captain Clean and Green program, assist with outreach, volunteer recruitment, and engagement.
• Maintain and update resident homeowner candidate database and assist in outreach to homeownership training resources.
• Maintain and update business database to support outreach and revitalization activities.
• Maintain and update house condition database, conduct or assist with site surveys and document observations.
