Genuine Foods is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Coordinator to bring student programming and community partnership efforts to life at a flagship New Orleans charter school account and across the NOLA-area portfolio.

You will be hands-on in food service marketing, community engagement, and program execution, supporting events, family engagement, and feedback collection while gaining real experience in K-12 programming.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and school staff.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and timelines.
  • Experience supporting school-based or community programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute recurring student programming and activations (e.g., Try It Tuesdays, Spirit Days, Local Spotlights).
  • Support seasonal events and cultural celebrations (Mardi Gras, Black History Month, Earth Day, etc.).
  • Coordinate Parent Council meetings and student focus groups; assist with surveys and feedback collection.
  • Assist with promotional materials for events and collect photos/recaps for reporting.
  • Provide activation support across Genuine Foods K-12 accounts in the New Orleans area and travel between sites as needed.
