Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, education, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in admissions, communications, outreach, or related role.
• Experience managing organizational social media accounts (Facebook required).
• Experience writing professional communications for a broad, diverse audience.
• Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools; Google Workspace; social media scheduling and analytics tools.
• Experience with CRM systems, student information systems, or admissions platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and off-hours emergency communications.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between campuses and off-site events.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families; guide admissions through enrollment.
• Administer enrollment, lottery, and maintain records per MO policy.
• Build relationships with community partners to support recruitment.
• Plan and execute admissions events like open houses and orientations.
• Produce and distribute weekly family newsletter.
• Manage school social media platforms, content, scheduling, and analytics reporting.
• Coordinate emergency communications to families and staff.
• Assist in marketing and branding, incl. digital ad campaigns.
• Create materials using Canva; maintain school branding.
• Maintain contact lists, photo library, and communications calendar.
• Ensure FERPA and student privacy compliance.
• Attend evening/weekend events to document activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
