Job summary

Hebron Community Center in Penn Hills is seeking a friendly, dependable, mission-minded individual to create a welcoming space where everyone feels known, valued, and connected. The Community Engagement Coordinator greets participants, manages check-in, builds relationships, and supports volunteers in a Christ-centered setting.

Hours are approximately 12–15 per week, primarily evenings, with regular collaboration with the Executive Director to strengthen community impact.

Responsibilities

• Welcome participants and help create a culture of belonging.
• Learn names and build relationships with participants.
• Manage digital attendance and collect program payments.
• Recruit, encourage, and support volunteers.
• Uphold HCC policies and promote a positive, respectful environment.
• Document attendance, incidents, and participant feedback.
• Meet regularly with the Executive Director to share observations and ideas for strengthening HCC's impact.
• Help strengthen HCC's presence in the community by building positive relationships with participants, volunteers, partners, and neighbors.
