The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) seeks a Community Engagement Associate to support data collection, reporting, and resource creation for immigrant communities across New York State. Under the Director of Community Engagement, you will help plan and attend events, distribute materials, and contribute to team initiatives.
The role requires strong organization, experience with digital tools, and a commitment to immigrant rights; Spanish or other languages are a plus.

Salary: $59,100
Location: Candidates may be based in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, New York City, or Long Island. Occasional travel to other regions within New York State is expected. This position is hybrid with a requirement of 4 days in-office and 1 day remote per week.

The Community Engagement team, situated within the Advocacy department, focuses on outreach to immigrant communities, Know Your Rights education, and community building events across New York State.
The Community Engagement Associate, under the supervision of the Director of Community Engagement, will manage data collection and reporting, resource creation and distribution, and administrative systems that support the team's work. They will also help plan and attend community events to conduct outreach and distribute community-facing materials, and contribute to team-wide initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency with digital tools, good communication skills, experience working with immigrant communities, and an interest in immigrant rights and advocacy.

** The NYIC has a transparent and equitable salary structure. Starting salaries for each position are set in advance with no room for negotiation.
