Job summary

City of Frisco Police Department seeks dedicated officers to patrol assigned areas, deter crime, and respond to calls for service. You will investigate incidents, mediate disputes, and assist with community events and crime prevention programs.

Applicants must be US citizens, 21+, with a high school diploma or GED and a Texas driver’s license. TCLEOSE certification is required for eligibility and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• United States citizenship required.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• No felony or Class A misdemeanor convictions; no recent Class B misdemeanors.
• Must pass Texas licensing requirements (TCLEOSE).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to deter crime and respond to incidents.
• Respond to calls for service and investigate civil and criminal activity.
• Mediates and/or negotiates conflicts within the community.
• Make arrests and book violators for law violations or outstanding warrants.
• Present testimony and evidence in municipal and county courts.
• Assist with community events and crime prevention programs.
• Complete reports and case files promptly and accurately.
• Interview victims, witnesses, suspects, and informants.
• Maintain and secure equipment; ensure readiness for assignments.
