Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of principles and effective training techniques for working with individuals who have I/DD.
• Experience leading innovative employment efforts for people with I/DD.
• Skill in organizing and managing a multi-component program and building relationships with staff and external agencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to use MS Office for basic documents and spreadsheets.
• Experience hiring, coordinating and supervising staff with familiarity of performance management processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct the job performance of staff assigned to Vocational Enterprises and administer employment and job readiness programs.
• Ensure availability of vocational training opportunities and monitor goals and documentation.
• Oversee budget and ensure safety standards and essential operations during adverse weather.
