Merakey in West Chester, PA is seeking an Employment Training Specialist to advance competitive employment for adults with serious mental illness. The role provides vocational education, assessment, and on-site training, with follow-up supports to help place and maintain employment in the community.

Working PRN there is emphasis on supporting Consumers and liaising with employers, under the Employment Training Specialist Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Experience working with IDD population.
• Must obtain ACRES certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsabilités

• Actively supports competitive employment as a primary outcome for Consumers.
• Assess skills and desires of Consumers, securing compatible employment within the community.
• Provide on-site training and follow-up supports for Consumers and employers.
