Job summary

Lakeville Area Public Schools is seeking a Community Education Cheer Instructor I for the Red Squad, an elementary rec cheerleading team. The role includes planning practices, communicating with parents, and leading choreography for competitions. The position starts on May 1, 2026, requiring a commitment of 2 hours per day from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A stipend will be provided for this non-licensed role.

Qualifications

Experience in competition cheerleading.
Great with kids.

Responsibilities

Run and plan all practices.
Communicate with parents on schedules and season expectations.
Lead and/or assist in routine choreography.
Work with community ed to assist in planning events.
Work with coaching staff to ensure skills are consistent within the program.

Position Description

Red Squad: Elementary Rec cheerleading squad that performs a modified traditional routine at 1-2 local competitions and as well a possibility of cheering on the sidelines for the North vs South Varisty Football game! Looking for a head coach that is great with kids and has experience in competition cheerleading. 2-4 extra events (Local Competitions, Community events, Games).
