Qualifications

• One year work experience in any field and/or military experience is desirable.
• Current enrollment or completion of a CA P.O.S.T.-approved academy is required or highly preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is not required; bilingual pay is available if fluent in English and another language.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve crime problems through community partnerships and proactive policing.
• Write clear reports, handle paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
• Willing to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
