Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Ability to obtain required police certifications and operate specialized equipment.
• Proficient in using computers and standard office software; strong written and spoken communication.
• Must have physical and mental stamina for policing duties and potential use of force scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform patrols by vehicle and on foot; enforce laws and conduct traffic control.
• Investigate incidents, collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare reports.
• Make arrests; operate radar; ensure officer safety and subdue suspects when necessary.
• Direct traffic at scenes and during events; provide crowd control and public information.
• Attend training; maintain required licenses and certifications; support various duties as assigned.
