Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check, polygraph, drug screen, psychological, and physical exams.
• Must attain and maintain a variety of law enforcement certifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to priority calls regarding public disturbances, criminal, civil, or emergency situations.
• Investigate crime scenes or accidents and assist other officers; protect evidence and testimonies.
• Enforce traffic laws and promote traffic safety; make arrests as appropriate.
• Prepare daily reports and logs; provide related police services including transport of prisoners and mediation of family disturbances.
• May conduct or assist with in-depth investigations involving felonies; work with District Attorneys.
