Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality care to rehabilitation patients in our Mississippi location. You will assess, plan, and implement personalized therapies aimed at improving independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds current OT licensure, CPR certification, and a passion for compassionate, evidence-based practice within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients requiring occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments; leading patient assessments and creating personalized care plans.
• Targeting and resolving patient concerns while monitoring progress.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery and outcomes.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree + experience
