Job summary

City Rescue Mission of Lansing is seeking a Donation Driver to represent the organization in the community and support donation operations. The role supports pickups, intake, and processing of donations, while upholding Christ-centered service.

The position is 1st shift, full-time, with an 8a-4p schedule, Monday through Friday, and requires punctuality and a strong commitment to mission values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma - required.
• Driver's License and clean driving record - required.
• 1+ years driver experience - preferred.
• Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite - required.

Responsibilities

• Represent City Rescue Mission across the community in a Christ-honoring way.
• Pickup donations across the community as scheduled/assigned.
• Follow ServSafe/Health Department rules when handling food donations.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, receipts, and a calendar of pickups.
• Communicate with donors and schedule pickups for drives/donations as needed.
• Consistently follow driving laws.
• Move donations between City Rescue Mission facilities as needed.
• Intake, organize, process, and track donations at the center and offsite kitchen as needed.
• Ensure mission vehicles are clean and in good repair.
• Deliver, empty, retrieve, and track donation barrels.
• Share the gospel and pray with guests regularly.
