Job summary

BCRC, Inc. in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a part-time Job Coach to help individuals build daily living skills and pursue employment opportunities. You will coach on life skills, support job searches, and prepare clients for interviews while maintaining progress records.

The position offers a part-time schedule with daytime hours and a focus on empowering participants to achieve independence and meaningful employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for essential life skills, including community engagement, meal planning, financial literacy, and use of public transportation.
• Provide job coaching to help individuals master tasks, understand workplace culture, and meet employer expectations.
• Use BCRC’s software program to document and maintain accurate records of participant progress and goal achievement.

Part-Time Schedule:

• Typically daylight hours- 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• 4 days/week Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for essential life skills, including community engagement, meal planning, financial literacy, and use of public transportation.
• Provide support in identifying career aspirations, conducting job searches, and preparation for applying for jobs and interview participation.
• Provide job coaching to help individuals master tasks, understand workplace culture, and meet employer expectations.
• Use BCRC’s software program to document and maintain accurate records of participant progress and goal achievement.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
