Benton County is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Community Development Team.

JOB SUMMARY

This position serves as the executive assistant to the Director, supports the coordination and efficiency of department operations, and provides support to commissions and committees that are staffed and administered by the Community Development Department. This position also provides administrative support to the Community Development Department by coordinating and managing day-to-day office support operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college; AND
  • 5 years of responsible administrative or related support experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience in local government, planning, building or economic development.
  • Notary public licensure.
  • Ability to multi-task; precise and accurate in work; self-motivated; maintains confidentiality.
