Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Under general direction of the Behavioral Health Division Director, and in collaboration with Health Services leadership, provides leadership and oversight for the in-scope clinical behavioral health service portfolio. Responsible for translating Health Services and divisional strategy into coordinated clinical operations across programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and sustainable service delivery.

Oversees clinical leadership staff including program managers, and is accountable for cross-program performance, clinical standards, and resource alignment. Works in close partnership with the Health Services Business Office and Financial Services Department to support clinical services that are operationally supported, compliant, and fiscally sound.

Contributes to division-wide strategy development and advises the Division Director and Senior Leadership Team on clinical system performance, emerging needs, and service improvements.

Hybrid work option available: If selected, the responsibilities of this position are such that the successful candidate may be able to perform some assignments remotely following Benton County's Telework Policy; however, a fully remote work environment is not an option. The initial training period will require a period of on‑site presence to gain understanding of job expectations and responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Master’s degree in a related behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
  • Experience: 7 Years progressively responsible experience in area of assignment, including 3 years managerial or supervisor experience.
    • Please note: Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward and discipline other employees.
  • Licensure: Active license in the state of Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
Special Requirements
  • Driver's License: Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
  • Credentials: Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileging per organizational standards.
  • Screening: Ability to pass required background checks and pre‑employment requirements.

Annual Salary Range
  • Behavioral Health Assistant Clinical Manager: $101,853 - $142,594
  • This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. An Increase may be given at the end of the 6‑month probationary period, depending on starting salary, and at the 1‑year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Annual performance‑based increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
