Role Overview

The Community Development Associate (CDA) is responsible for expanding the membership base through community outreach, building new relationships, and maintaining existing ones. The CDA will manage client meetings, including loan collection, disbursements, repayments, and verifications. The role requires strong leadership, organization, multitasking skills, and the ability to deliver training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment:
   • Grow the member base through outreach activities, attracting new members to meet growth targets.
   • Enhance member experience via communication channels and build meaningful relationships.
   • Maintain accurate documentation of recruitment activities.
   • Ensure high-quality standards and productivity.
2. Relationship Management:
   • Build positive relationships with borrowers and members to foster growth.
   • Provide excellent customer service and support.
   • Facilitate GAI Center meetings.
   • Communicate processes and provide financial education.
   • Address members’ concerns promptly and professionally.
3. Financial Methodology:
   • Monitor loan activities, ensure compliance, and manage repayments.
   • Keep accurate transaction records.
   • Input and track loan data in relevant systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High integrity, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Basic logical reasoning and numeric skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday.

Education and Experience

• BA/BS degree and 1-3 years of experience in community outreach and client recruitment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic devices.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location.
