Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza is seeking a dentist to deliver comprehensive general dentistry within our community-based health center. You will diagnose, treat, and manage a broad set of dental services across diverse patient populations in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry; DDS/DMD required.
• One year experience in all phases of general dentistry and/or clinic experience.
• Licensed to practice in California; DEA number.
• Cultural competence working in diverse/low-income communities.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of general dentistry.
• Perform oral exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylactic work.
• Treat oral diseases and confer with physicians regarding medical/dental problems.
• Write prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications.
• Attend staff conferences; maintain records of services, supplies and materials.
