Job summary

La Clínica de La Raza seeks a licensed dentist to provide comprehensive general dentistry to diverse Bay Area patients. You will perform exams, restorations, extractions, prosthodontic work, and preventive care while coordinating with physicians on medical/dental issues.

You will participate in mentorship of residents, join a cross-functional team of dentists, and attend staff conferences. California license and DDS/DMD are required, with NHSC or related loan repayment programs offering

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating human injuries, diseases, and deformities in dentistry.
• Good time management skills and evidence-based approaches to dental care.
• Patient service principles and processes for quality care.
• Working knowledge of Practice Management System software.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of general dentistry including exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylaxis.
• Diagnose and treat dental diseases and coordinate with physicians as needed.
• Write prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications.
• Mentor and collaborate with residents and other dentists in a team setting.
• Attend staff conferences and maintain patient records and materials used.
