Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers is seeking a General Dentist to provide high-quality dental care at assigned clinics within a patient-centered medical home framework. The Dentist will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, using dental imaging and records to deliver comprehensive care.

The role requires NC licensure as DDS or DMD and graduation from a US-accredited dental school. Strong communication, teamwork, and EHR proficiency are essential; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from a US-accredited dental school.
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina DDS or DMD license.
• Ability to work in a Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

Responsibilities

• Provides dental care for patients by diagnosing and treating diseases of teeth and gums.
• Educates patients on oral health care.
• Examines patients using x-rays and dental tools; documents findings.
• Discusses treatment options and agrees on plans with patients.
• Locates and restores cavities on teeth.
• Extracts teeth or performs root canal work as needed.
• Makes impressions for dentures.
• Treats diseases of teeth and gums with medicines or surgery.
• Markets services to potential patients.
• Manages budgets and maintains stocks of equipment.
• Maintains patient dental records.
• Refers patients for specialty consultation or treatment per protocols.
• Educates individuals on oral health and prevention.
• Performs other duties as assigned
