Father Joe’s Villages is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to provide patient-centered care for people experiencing homelessness and housing instability in San Diego. Under the Dental Director, you will perform cleanings, radiographs, and preventive treatments, educating patients and supporting coordinated care with the dental team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, accessible care, strong clinical practice, and thorough documentation in an electronic health record.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• At least three years of recent clinical hygiene experience including preventative and periodontal care.
• Experience with dental radiography and electronic clinical documentation.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Assess oral health and identify concerns requiring referral.
