Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school.
• Completion of the ADA CDHC curriculum and internship within 1 year of hire.
• One year of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
• Dental Hygiene License.
• CPR Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual Differential Compensation if ALTA score is 10.

Responsibilities

• Provides outreach to engage cultural and social networks to access dental services.
• Fosters partnerships to increase community access to dental services.
• Delivers oral health education and prevention programs.
• Provides patient advocacy, care coordination, and navigation services.
• Performs dental cleanings, X-ray procedures, charting, and restorations as directed.
• Ensures infection control and instrument sterilization.
