The State of Washington is hiring a full-time Community Corrections Officer 3 for the Reynolds Reentry Center in Seattle. This role involves supervising residents, ensuring their successful transition into the community, and requires the ability to carry a firearm. Our agency is hiring a full-time, non-permanent Community Corrections Officer 3 within the Reentry Division, based at Reynolds Reentry Center in Seattle, WA. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
*Employees assigned to a permanent duty station in King County will receive a 5% premium pay calculated from their base salary.
*Our agency offers a free ORCA card to all employees whose permanent duty station is in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.
The Community Corrections Officer 3, working with internal and external stakeholders, contributes to this mission by supporting the effective supervision and accountability of reentry center residents, helping them transition successfully into the community.
This role involves arrest authority, and staff not covered under legacy provisions for arming are required to be armed and able to carry a department-issued firearm.

A master’s degree can substitute for five years of experience; an associate’s degree for two years.
Staff must be willing and able to carry a firearm, maintain qualifications, and complete ongoing training.
