Position: Community Companion Home Provider (CCH)

We seek compassionate caregivers willing to open their hearts and homes to provide a community-based living environment for individuals with developmental disabilities. As a provider, you will offer an individual the opportunity to live in a natural family setting, enhancing their quality of life and including them as family in your daily life.

Licensing and Support

Community Companion Homes are licensed by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). With support from Marrakech's CCH team, licensees will complete required training, background checks, home study, and fire safety checks during the licensing process. Residents must attend a weekly day program, allowing providers to work or engage in activities of their choice. Licensed providers receive support such as respite care, Marrakech oversight, nursing support (including 24/7 on-call), and license renewal assistance.

Responsibilities

A licensee should be patient, empathetic, and attentive. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks such as self-care, bathing, medication management, transportation to medical appointments, and supporting social or recreational activities to promote community integration and social-emotional growth.

Compensation

The licensee receives a monthly payment for each individual in their home, which includes a flat rate for room and board and reimbursement for care based on the individual's needs.
