Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate caregivers willing to open their hearts and homes as Community Companion Home providers for individuals with developmental disabilities. Providers will offer a family-like environment, supporting the individual's quality of life and social integration.

Community Companion Homes are licensed by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The licensing process includes training, background checks, home study, and fire safety checks. Residents must attend a weekly day program, and licensed providers will have access to support services including respite care, oversight, nursing support (24/7 on-call), and license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Be patient, empathetic, and attentive.
• Assist with daily tasks such as self-care, bathing, medication management, transportation, and supporting community and social activities.

Compensation

Providers receive a monthly payment per individual, covering room and board, plus reimbursement based on the individual's care needs.

Matching Process
