Position: Manager - Internal Communication

Location: AdventHealth Orlando, 601 EAST ROLLINS STREET, Orlando, FL 32803

Work Hours/Shift: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic thought leadership to C-suite executives, developing and executing division-wide holistic strategic communication plans for internal and external audiences.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key leaders, providing Public Affairs counsel.
  3. Lead planning and delivery of public affairs content for internal events.
  4. Facilitate communication between executive leadership and front-line staff, creating action plans and messaging for campus and system goals.
  5. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Patient Safety Goals, and communicate employee policies and patient experience standards.
  6. Identify and manage potential issues and opportunities impacting Florida Hospital internally and externally.
  7. Collaborate with Public Affairs teams to share external, executive, and citizenship activities internally.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Six years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Experience with strategic communication plans, social media, event planning, and video coordination.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • (Preferred) Internal communications experience in a corporate setting, presentation design, and social media deployment.
