Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a Part-Time Chaplain to serve employees and their families, primarily remote with on-site visits as needed. The role requires Spanish language proficiency to support a diverse workforce in Cincinnati, OH.

The Chaplain will provide pastoral care, confidential discussions, and funerary support, building trust through weekly site visits and community outreach while aligning with Christian ministry values and company expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, interfaith setting.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills, including coaching families under stress.
• Demonstrates Christian faith and ministry values in daily duties.
• Diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication; accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Visits company worksites and employees weekly to provide spiritual care.
• Offers confidential pastoral discussions for personal or family issues.
• Assists in planning or attending funerals and bereavement support.
• Coordinates with clients and Chaplain Team per company guidelines.
• Provides post-termination support to ease transitions for employees.
• Distributes life resources and literature to employees and families.
