Job summary

Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation is seeking a Facility Supervisor to assist with the operations and maintenance of the Longview Community Center, providing patron services, supervising staff, and overseeing rentals, classes, and events. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of customer service experience, and Basic First Aid and CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service required.
• Basic First Aid and CPR/AED required within thirty (30) days of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary contact for patron services.
• Creates, maintains and performs data entry into patron databases.
• Processes financial transactions related to facility offerings; balances daily receipts and maintains cash controls.
• Responsible for monitoring and oversight of all aspects of facility operations, including rentals, fitness classes, and other offerings.
• May assist patrons with other Parks and Recreation transactions or needs.
• Opening and/or closing of facility and related services.
• Maintenance and custodial duties; ensuring safety with regard to environmental conditions.
• Maintains records and files related to facility operations as assigned.
• Maintains safety by following LSPR guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Ensures enforcement of rules and regulations of LSPR.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
