Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative division is hiring a direct-care role to support individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries in residential and community settings. You will help with daily living skills, meals, hygiene, and transportation, while working with clinical staff to implement treatment plans.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license. We offer full, part-time and on-demand schedules with paid training, holidays, and mileage reimbursement to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six months to one year of experience in the human services field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence for minimum 1 year and a good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others.
• Strong communication skills and reliable, compassionate approach.
• Commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills and therapeutic activities in residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities including meals, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning and medication administration.
• Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served and support community involvement with outings or transportation to work and activities.
• Work closely with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
