Job summary

Home Instead - NW Missouri is seeking compassionate Community Caregivers to assist seniors inside one of our St. Joseph, MO living communities. Work includes companionship, daily living support, and coordination with families to improve quality of life.

Shifts are evenings and weekends with opportunities for additional hours. We offer bonuses, trainings, and medical/dental/vision benefits to teammates who join our caring team in Northwest Missouri.

Qualifications

• Reliability is essential as a consistent presence in clients' lives.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with families and care teams.
• Driver's license is required to transport clients if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and fall prevention including transfers.
• Prepare meals tailored to individual needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean home environment.
• Follow care plans, remind about medications, and report changes promptly.
• Transport clients to medical appointments or community activities as required.

Community Caregiver : Working with clients inside one of our senior living communities in St Joseph, MO

We are seeking dedicated caregivers in Northwest Missouri to join our team and provide exceptional, high quality care to our seniors within one of our senior living communities. This role is more than just tasks! Our caregivers enhance their clients' quality of life by providing companionship, fostering independence, and being a consistent source of physical and emotional support.

Work Schedule

• Wednesday's: 1PM-6:30PM
• Saturdays With Alternating Shifts: Week 1: 7AM-12:30PM
• Saturdays With Alternating Shifts: Week 2: 4:30PM-9PM
• Sundays With Alternating Shifts: Week 1: 2:30PM-8:30PM
• Sundays With Alternating Shifts: Week 2: 4:30PM-9PM

What Our Caregivers Do

• Personal Care Support - Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure comfort and dignity.
• Mobility Support - Help with transfers, light exercise, and fall prevention
• Nutrition - Prepare meals tailored to individual requirements and preferences
• Light Housekeeping - Help keep the client's home tidy and clean
• Health Management - Follow care plans , Medication reminders, Report changes in condition or concerns timely
• Transportation - Transport clients to medical appointments, or community activities as needed
