Job summary

Generations is seeking a Community Driver at Carmel Village in California to transport residents to off-site activities and events. You will help with basic vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and safety checks to ensure reliable service for residents.

This part-time role offers shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a preference for weekend/holiday availability, and a benefits package including PTO, medical-dental-vision for full-time staff, a 401k match, employee engagement, and opportunities for

• Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Two+ years of experience driving others or related fields.
• Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to/from off-site activities.
• Ensure regular cleaning, maintenance and daily inspection of community vehicles.
• Comply with federal, state and local standards for facility operation.

Job description

The Community Driver at Carmel Village transports residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. This position is in Independent Living.

Schedule

• Part-time, available for work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Preference for weekend/holiday availability in addition to weekday availability

Qualifications

• Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required
• Must have a current Driver’s License.
• Two or more years of experience driving others, or other related fields.
