CIBHS Therapists are a critical part of our clinical team. We are seeking Therapists that:
- Possess a Master's degree (or other graduate/doctoral degree) in a mental health related field
- Minimum of six months previous experience in Mental Health as a Community Based Therapist in, CTSS, or ARMHS
- Experience with psychotherapy and competence with performing diagnostic assessments
- Experience with Foster Providers, Adoption, and County Social Services
- Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family.
- Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis
- Proficient use of computers for communicating and documenting for clients and staff.
- Strong skills in managing a flexible schedule and ability to appropriately manage referrals.
- Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community based locations
Compensation range $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
JOB SUMMARY
As a CIBHS (Children's Intensive Behavioral Health Service) Community Based Therapist, you will provide culturally competent mental health services to clients with mental illness and/or mental health needs. This position will have a primary focus within CIBHS with partial clients in our other Community Based programs, providing skills and therapy for adults and children. You will provide intensive clinical services that focus on decreasing symptoms and impairments and functioning for clients currently residing in a foster care setting. This position will help children maintain foster care placement and/or support reunification and/or adoption, by providing Psycho-therapy (Individual, family, multi-family, group), Psycho-education, Crisis Assistance and Clinical Care Consultation. All services are provided from an evidenced-based practice model.CIBHS Therapists at LifeStance Health will:
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical charting using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) on a daily basis
- Update and maintain client files as required and necessary per specified guidelines
- Secure all client information per HIPAA standards
- Complete accurate case notes for each billable unit
- Prepare written reports and state mandated documents per LifeStance Health expectations and requirements for state certification
- Manage a caseload that consistently meets the necessary billable time weekly
- Participate in meetings as required/necessary with internal and external customers and partners
Compensation range $55,000 - $70,000 annually.
