Community-Based Mental Health Therapist Company: Associated Clinic of Psychology (ACP) Location: Minneapolis-St. Paul (and surrounding metro areas) Hiring Bonus Available Job Description: ACP is actively seeking a highly skilled full-time or part-time Community-Based Mental Health Therapists to assess and address the needs of our diverse clients in and around the Twin Cities metro. This role takes on a hands-on approach by meeting clients where they're at. Working with clients in their own environment offers a greater chance to connect with community members who may not have the resources to travel to a clinic. The Community-Based Mental Health Therapist role is an excellent opportunity for those with a master's degree in behavioral health studies ora related field and on track to become a: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) ACP provides free individual and group clinical supervision from board-approved supervisors. Develop therapeutic relationships to establish personal recovery goals, rehabilitative goals, and objectives with clients. Collaborate and coordinate services with school staff, families or guardians of clients, case managers, and medical personnel. Requirements: Master's or other graduate degrees in psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related fields from an accredited college or university OR - be on track to be a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Mental stability and ability to model appropriate boundaries. Timely, accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required.
