Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or another human service-related field required.

  • Valid PA driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation required.

  • Experience in the behavioral health field working with individuals with mental health/developmental disabilities preferred.

Position Details



The Mental Health Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and skill transferring recovery treatment and support plans for adults and youth with a mental health diagnosis and/or on the autism spectrum. They provide intensive therapeutic services in all types of settings, including but not limited to community living arrangements, schools, community settings, natural support residents, etc. This candidate, in collaboration with other members of the treatment team, implements and transfers skills identified in the recovery treatment and support plan that utilizes a person-centered approach.
