Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ Inc. (CSPNJ) is seeking a Housing Supports Worker in Salem County to provide pre-tenancy and tenancy-sustaining services.

The role aims to help individuals secure stable housing, build independent living skills, and pursue personal goals; 50%–75% of time will be spent out in the community. You will manage a caseload of 25–30, document progress notes, assess daily living skills, and address safety or maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in mental health preferred; or HS diploma with 3+ years related experience.
• Ability to prepare clear, timely progress notes and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Patience and emotional resilience; remain calm under pressure.
• NJ Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-tenancy and tenancy-sustaining services to support stable housing.
• Assist residents in developing independent living skills like budgeting, cooking, laundry, and self-advocacy.
• Assess daily living skills and address safety, maintenance, and compliance concerns.
• Maintain a caseload of 25–30 residents and document progress notes in a timely manner.
• Spend 50–75% of time out in the community.
• Collaborate with team to support residents’ goals and needs.
