UT Dentists at UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry is accepting applications for casual, non-benefits-eligible Staff Dentist positions to provide per diem general dental care at multiple community clinics.

The Staff Dentist delivers evidence-based, patient-centered treatment, maintains comprehensive records, and collaborates with community physicians to improve oral health in underserved populations.

Qualifications

• CODA-accredited dental degree required.
• Completion of a general dentistry residency or 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Spanish, Vietnamese, or other foreign languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based, person-centered dental treatment.
• Complete a comprehensive treatment record, including health history and documentation.
• Represent UTHealth School of Dentistry and cultivate referrals with community providers.
• Participate in continuing education, mentoring, and in-service learning.
• Comply with applicable regulations and workplace policies.
• Perform other tasks to achieve organizational goals and productivity.
