Job summary

Still Family LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking Direct Care Staff to support individuals with I/DD in home and community settings. The role focuses on personal care, documentation, and teamwork, with 20 hours weekly (9am–1pm, Mon–Fri). CNA experience is preferred.

Applicants must have a valid NC driver’s license, auto insurance, a high school diploma or GED, pass background checks, and be comfortable in non-supervised settings with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to demonstrate competence in confidentiality, participant rights, and strong documentation skills.
• Be 18 or older and have a valid NC driver’s license with liability insurance.
• Ability to work in a non-supervised setting and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete duties and implement skill-building activities per participant’s ISP.
• Direct and assist individuals based on goals and treatment team recommendations.
• Implement therapeutic monitoring and training for behavioral, educational, recreational or social needs.
• Document in CCW daily or within 48 hours of service delivery.
• Submit timesheets weekly and ensure timely submission around holidays.
• Participate in meetings and maintain professional behavior at all times.
