Job summary

Sevita is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support adults and children with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You’ll assist with daily living activities, hygiene, and health goals while building trusting relationships with participants.

This role requires empathy, reliability, and patience, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide organization that values the wellbeing of both participants and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Provide compassionate, patient care and build meaningful relationships with participants.
