Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services in Chicago is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Calumet office full-time. You will provide assessments, counseling, and case management to families and individuals in the community.

The role requires a Master's in counseling or related field and LPC/LSW licensure. Preference for CADC or substance-use experience; driving between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field is required.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is required.
• 2+ years of experience in the mental health field preferred.
• CADC certification or experience with substance use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments and intake.
• Provides case management, counseling, interventions, advocacy, and skill-building.
• Learns and utilizes agency and community resources.
• Assesses community conditions to identify resource gaps.
• Recommends financial assistance for clients.
• Provides group services as needed.
